Bold, wild and unmistakably Welsh, Y Gwyllgi is our limited edition Pinot Noir gin, created in collaboration with Silver Circle Distillery.
Crafted using the beautifully aromatic leftover skins, pulp and seeds from our Pinot Noir winemaking process, this distinctive Welsh gin captures the essence of our vineyard while embracing sustainable production. These wine soaked grape skins are distilled alongside wild foraged botanicals from the Wye Valley, resulting in a spirit that is both complex and deeply rooted in place.
Expect layers of red berry brightness from the Pinot Noir, balanced with herbaceous, woodland notes and a smooth, warming finish. The texture is rounded and expressive, with subtle spice and lingering fruit character.
A Spirit Inspired by Welsh Myth
Named after the mythical Gwyllgi, from gwyll meaning twilight and ci meaning dog, this fearsome creature is said to appear as a black wolf with blazing red eyes and baleful breath. Like its namesake, this gin is dark, intense and unforgettable.
