After a nail biting Welsh Vineyard Association Welsh Wine Awards last night, we are excited to announce our Y Lleidr was awarded the Best Rosé and Best Overall Still Wine in Wales!
A fitting send-off from our old vineyard at Pen-y-Clawdd as we hand over the reins at the end of the year. Y Lleidr (The Thief) was named after the birds who pilfered our first harvest. The following years we’ve managed to keep them away and produce some exceptional wines.
Thanks to the team Three Choirs for working their magic in the winery to produce this exceptional gold medal winner. Our other wines also picked up two silvers and a bronze!
